Famous for its lightweight carved mahogany body, the Ibanez S770PB Electric Guitar can take a beating while still providing the resonance of guitars twice its size. The S770PB also comes equipped with the ZR tremolo system, a smooth ball bearing tremolo that makes every subtle nuance of whammy bar use come alive. The Ibanez S series first appeared in 1987. Ever since, it has changed in appearance and function to represent the cutting edge of Ibanez design. ZR Tremolo Zero Resistance technology, yet another Ibanez tremolo improvement, replaces standard knife-edge pivots with a ball-bearing based pivot joint, which provides greater tuning stability. The ZR tremolo uses a ball-bearing based system for precision and friction-free smooth action. This unique system stabilizes the bridge and insures tuning stability by consistently returning the tremolo to the center point (or zero point). In addition to the usual tremolo springs, the Zero Point System features two additional springs which insures the bridge"s return to the center point. The Zero Point system adjustment can be quickly set by hand"there"s no need for a hex wrench.
