I received just one guitar strap, the one on the left of the picture. This listing gave the impression that you would get all four, or possibly two. The one they sent is obviously the style no one else wanted. Very dissatisfied. This makes me trust Amazon much less.

This is probably the worst talk box i have ever used. I used to own the original “Heil” talk box and i now own the Rocktron “Banshee”. They tried to put everything (effect and microphones) into this little box and everything came out mediocre. Save your money and pay the difference for the “Banshee”, it is worth it.

It is not really loud enough to play outside of practice without some help. Then we have the feedback problems. Very hard to overcome, but if you play with it, and find the proper place for the mic placement you can get around it. I use external mic along with attached mic to get around the low volume, high feedback issue. And it has worked out ok. But as it ages, the case leaks more and more sound that diminished even more of the precious volume needed. I have never tried any other external effect like this, so I really do not know if there is better out there. I would not buy it again if lost or stolen. And I am always looking for a better unit.

This is a great little pedal I recently picked up. I use it with my bass rig and a couple other pedals in my chain, and I have to say it really holds its own.

While this pedal just does the sub-octave, that is what I need it for. You can EQ your octave sound to go from very clean and bassy to gritty and grumbly. The blend knob is really essential with all bass pedals, and that's no different here. It's really easy to dial in the sound that you're going for. I find these knobs particularly good for foot-use, so it's pretty easy to make on-the-fly adjustments with your toes, if that's your thing. It's got true-bypass, which is always* a plus. This pedal sounds great followed up with nice overdrive too.

Keep in mind if you get this pedal that it is monophonic. It uses audio tracking to produce the sub-octave sound. If you are playing chords, or octaves, or power chords, or anything else polyphonic, you'll get a little weirdness. The tracking will catch one note, and then the other. Sometimes, it can even sound kind of cool, but there's really no way of controlling it, and it's probably not what you're going for. With bass, I find that the same effect can be produced on the low string(s) of you bass, so just be aware of that.

So yeah. If you're looking to beef up your sound a little, this is a nice cheap option that will really push the subs. Rating: 4 / 5

It's under $80 to get into a talkbox. That's a deal considering the HEIL is $300 used (where I live anwyays)

I didn't bother to hook up the mini mics so I use it only for the TB alone. The only thing I have to whine about is the amount of sound leakage from the housing. I solved that by making my own iso box for it. I love it. Until I have something upscale to compare it to, I can't complain.

I Like this bass alot everything is great the feel the action, it just seems to me like a very well built bass overall. The only main issue I have on this is it has very poor pickup of the Low B string. I thought it might of been my bass but I recently tried another one and it had the same problem, then I started doing some of my own research and found alot of other people have the same issues and there are many other reviews on this problem. E thru G Strings sound great! you just can barely here the Low B String. I think outside of that everything else is great on this bass.

Got my bass back from Gibson Epiphone service dept. on the Low B issue And WOW!! This Bass is the best Very crisp Highs & Lows with a driving punch! all 5 cylinders working fantastic!! Dear Epiphone Customer,

We regret to inform you that we have discovered that a SMALL percentage of defective T-PRO(tm) pickups were installed in some of our Epiphone Thunderbird PRO-V basses (5-string ONLY). These pickups were incorrectly made and therefore, cause the low-B string (or 5th string) to have a very low output level (ie: low volume) relative to the other 4 strings. While all PRO-V basses are NOT affected, the extent of the problem dictates that we notify you of this potential defect and take immediate action to correct it.

* If you purchased an Epiphone Thunderbird PRO-V (5-string) bass and the output level of the low-B string is LOW (ie: much quieter than the other 4 strings) please contact our Customer Service department either by email or by phone as follows. Remember - please check your bass first. Not all PRO-V's are affected. PRO-IV's (4-strings) do not have this problem.

If they do, we will be either repairing them on-site or re-calling them. As a result, future purchasers of Thunderbird PRO-V basses will not experience this problem.

There’s nothing more to say: This the amazing Brian Sound!!! I’ve been playing the guitar for 20 years and the this pedal is best gear a I’ve ever used!!!

With the Red Special replica guitar, you can sound very similar to Brian (not equal, of course).
